是改编自日本游戏公司科樂美所发行之横向卷轴射击游戏《宇宙巡航舰》的OVA作品，变态由Studio Pierrot所制作，变态为《沙罗曼蛇三部曲》的首部曲，不过发行日期较《沙罗曼蛇二部曲》晚。于1988年11月30日发行录像带，1989年3月21日发行影碟，台湾的霹雳卫星电视台以及卫视电影台都曾经播出。

回复 :这是一个阿鼠与阿狼的冒险故事，阿鼠是任务执行人，而阿狼则是“任务协会”的中介，专门为阿鼠寻找任务。在二人不停的完成各种艰难的任务的同时，阿鼠透露出对某种不可名状事物的向往——“星辰大海”；而阿狼，也在各种任务中寻找家族消失的线索。二人从任务中得知在除了现在这个世界，还有一个“上面的世界”，且各种迹象表明，阿鼠的向往，和阿狼寻找的线索，都直指“上面的世界”，甚至“更上面的世界”。
