由中央电视台影视部、免费海军政治部电视艺术中心、免费白山市委市政府、临江市委市政府在1997年联合摄制的14集电视剧《四保临江》（央视播出版为10集），是最早以陈云为第一主角拍摄的电视剧，曾获1997年度第18届中国电视剧飞天奖三等奖。编剧：王树明，总导演：金韬。全剧从新开岭战役胜利结束开始，主要反映1946年10月至1947年3月东北民主联军在极为艰苦条件下，击退国民党军四次进攻，坚持南满根据地的历史事件。着力塑造了陈云临危受命，在东北战场错综复杂形势下，在国民党军队大兵压境的危难面前，所表现出高瞻远瞩的指挥才能和冷静果敢的鲜明个性，和对人民、对战友，情同手足、亲如一家的丰富情感，及其缜密思考、幽默风趣的人格魅力。同时还塑造了肖劲光、肖华、韩先楚等我军高级将领、赵大山等基层指战员各具性格特色的艺术形象，以及人民群众对解放军的热爱与支持。
